Before you call
Straight answers.
What does the work cost?
There's a $100 fee to take possession of your firearm, and after that you're billed by the job. More technical work costs more because it takes longer. Quotes are free, so send the details and you'll get a straight answer before anything starts.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. If something isn't right when you get it back, Dirk fixes it free of charge. If he breaks it, he buys it and replaces it.
What is the shop known for?
1911 pistols, including Marvel cuts on slides. Dirk also handles general firearms repairs, trigger jobs, scope mounting, other mill work and critical safety inspections.
When is the shop open?
Monday through Saturday, 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Send your details through the form and Dirk will get back to you about dropping the firearm off.
Do you sell firearms too?
Yes. Valhalla Gunsmithing sells firearms and equipment, and Dirk stocks quality items only — nothing bargain-basement goes on the shelf.
Will you tell me if it isn't safe?
Always. Nothing leaves the shop unless it's in safe working order, unless the piece is a display item and you know that going in. If Dirk finds a problem, you'll hear about it plainly.
